Paul Feiler
Works on PaperThis is the first show dedicated to Feiler's works on paper in over five years, and follows the centenary retrospective at the Jerwood Gallery, Hastings. Some of these works were exhibited last year at the Jerwood, while others were included in Feiler's first one-man show at Tate St Ives, in 1995, entitled Form to Essence. Many of the works, however, have never been seen before now. These include a number of haunting black and white landscapes of Cornish harbours, as well as the series of concentric squares, painted in subtle gradations of colour, and which held Feiler's interest for over four decades.
