YCBA acquires a work by Paul Feiler

The Redfern Gallery is pleased to announce that a painting by Paul Feiler has been acquired by the Yale Center for British Art, in New Haven, Connecticut, which houses the largest collection of British art outside the UK.
The work, Janicon G X, was donated by the Estate of Paul Jenkins in April 2019. It is from a very small number of Janicon works that the artist made using gouache with gold and silver leaf on card, all of which are now in private ownership. They were first exhibited at The Redfern Gallery in 2003.
Feiler is represented in various important collections across the USA including the Toledo Museum of Art in Ohio, and The Phillips Collection, in Washington, DC.
