The Redfern at the IFPDA Print Fair, New York
The Redfern Gallery will be exhibiting once again at the 2019 edition of the IFPDA Fine Art Print Fair, held at the Javits Center, in New York City, from 23 to 27 October. The Redfern will place its usual emphasis on the Grosvenor School linocuts by Sybil Andrews, Leonard Beaumont, Claude Flight and Cyril Power, among others, which this year coincides with the critically acclaimed exhibition at Dulwich Picture Gallery, Cutting Edge: Modernist British Printmaking.
Also on show will be a selection of screenprints by Bridget Riley, some from the 1960s and others recently published; a number of important etchings by Lucian Freud; monotypes by Sam Francis; and inkjet printed computer drawings by David Hockney. Other exhibited artists include Georges Braque, John Carter, Patrick Caulfield, Max Ernst, SW Hayter, Barbara Hepworth, Paul Jenkins, Allen Jones, Picasso, Karl Schmidt-Rottluff, Graham Sutherland and Edward Wadsworth.
