Redfern prints among Collectors' Choices at LOPF 2020
A number of Redfern prints were selected as part of the 'Collector's Choice', at this year's online edition of the London Original Print Fair.
Anna Brady, of The Art Newspaper, chose "Patrick Procktor's delicious lithograph of Cataract, Aswan", as did the artist and designer Luke Edward Hall. Catharine Armitage, who died recently, was included in Rhoda Eitel-Porter's selection. The editor of Print Quarterly, Eitel-Porter primarily chose etchings by the Old Masters and caricatures by Thomas Rowlandson, but was also drawn to the "rich textures" and "lyrical backdrop" of Armitage's LXXII, of 1972. The fashion designer Hannah Weiland picked out a further two prints shown by the Redfern: Lucian Freud's Four Figures, and Picnic by Mary Fedden.
The online exhibition ends on 31 May 2020.
